We needn't have worried, for the location was beautiful and the site itself attractively laid out, friendly and welcoming. There were early evening Herons and visiting bunnies for breakfast!
DEVIZES. October 5th/6th
This caravan and camping club 'adults only' site is positioned beside the Kennet and Avon Canal. Having received various cost discounts, this site turned out to be the cheapest visited to date...which caused us to approach with caution! Added to this, Alan had a week off work, but with various commitments outstanding we could only manage to book one night away...and with my birthday being on 6th there was an element of 'high hopes' involved. As we approached the site we felt a little as Sherlock Holmes might have felt at the start of a pending venture!
