Julian's purchase

Julian is a Talbot Express 'Symphony' Autosleeper.  A two-sleeper camper van.
He began his road life in 1993 and was purchased by us in August 2016 for the princely sum of £7.995  This price includes a full MOT and 'all inclusive' 3-month warranty.
At this time Julian has 76756 miles on the clock.
Gas and electrical appliances have all been tested and certified by the dealer.
The van is in good clean condition internally and the engine and coachwork seem fine too....with allowance made for its age of course.  Fuel emissions (petrol) checked and good.
Note:
Four weeks after purchase, and having travelled 560 miles since, Julian was returned to the seller due to several small engine/running glitches that we felt needed to be sorted. The seller willingly took notice and all points were dealt with by their local garage within 24 hours.

March 2017:
We bought Julian in the August of last year and very much enjoyed setting up and driving around whenever the weather attracted us to go wandering.  In October, after just a couple of months use, we closed the van down for the winter months.  Over the winter period we took time to start the engine and drive through local streets every few weeks just to make sure that things didn't seize up completely...nevertheless a new fuel filter and connective piping were needed before we went anywhere the following March.  This was done 'ourselves' and the bits cost just under £20. At the same time we decided to replace the main battery with a new one, as the old one wasn't holding charge very well...that was almost £100.
